cal 11-2 is the nickel plated high beat version; correct |

Yep, also has an upgraded mainspring, different 4th wheel and escape wheel (to get the frequency up to 3 Hz.) |

I wonder why it has automatic on it though? Not a question of its authenticity, just a 'what the' query? |

Cal 11 is one of the three first (different definitions) automatic chronograph movements, launched in 1969, developed by Breitling, Heuer and Bueren; slightly later version here. |
