Does this look a little funny to anyone else?

Any thoughts?

all original ref. 808, early 1960s. what do you think is funny ?
just imagine this would be an early 60s Rolex chronograph, the whole collector community would be excited about "perfect patina".

so what is different between the rolex community and the rest (us?)
If I was interested in a 808 I would discard this one , holding my $$ until a better example would show up for a little more money where this collector community seems be less interested in 'perfect patina'

Patina is good, damage is not. That dial is not in good condition.

The patina looks too even, but I have bad eyes. This one is in my hometown. Going to take a look in person.

Yes, it was real. At a local pawn shop. No pictures of the movement were included as the case back seems to be a little tough guy. It is now sold. All I will say is from my point of view having seen it, Craig would have a time getting this one back in shape. Lots and lots of work.
