all original ref. 808, early 1960s. what do you think is funny ? just imagine this would be an early 60s Rolex chronograph, the whole collector community would be excited about "perfect patina". |

If I was interested in a 808 I would discard this one , holding my $$ until a better example would show up for a little more money where this collector community seems be less interested in 'perfect patina' |

Patina is good, damage is not. That dial is not in good condition. |

The patina looks too even, but I have bad eyes. This one is in my hometown. Going to take a look in person. |

Yes, it was real. At a local pawn shop. No pictures of the movement were included as the case back seems to be a little tough guy. It is now sold. All I will say is from my point of view having seen it, Craig would have a time getting this one back in shape. Lots and lots of work. |
