http://www.ebay.fr/itm/1940s-Breitling- ... 43bc625e81 Awful redial ! but apart that , a sound early Chronomat , issued in 1943 according to SN 508xxx. Defects are honestly described ( redial and non original Clebar bridge ) . Case, back, V175 apart bridge, bezel apart fixing screws, hands , crown , pushers look genuine . It just need to refind good dial + sliderule! |

It was more than likely a Clebar to begin with. I've seen a few of them over the years. Another example of some of the strange things Breitling did during that era where they had identical pieces with others names on them. |

That was my immediate assumption, but looking at it the bridge does appear to have been replaced. Of course that doesn't mean that the original was Breitling. |
