Hello all, this is my first post. Wondering if this Ebay special is the real deal. Noticed the ref # is 4002. Thx. http://i.ebayimg.com/t/Vintage-Breitlin ... ~60_35.JPG http://i.ebayimg.com/t/Vintage-Breitlin ... ~60_57.JPG http://i.ebayimg.com/t/Vintage-Breitlin ... ElBRlMWSiJ)!~~60_57.JPG |

I'm not completely convinced that the dial is real, better photos would have been helpful and I wonder why the seller didn't provide them. Hands definitely look like they have been worked on - that lume is a very funny colour, and it may also have been replated, but looks fundamentally correct to me. |

Yeah, the face was refinished. The inside looks ok though. |

A little late on this one but no ref number on the back, hands are wrong, dial a repaint, and I think the rotor has been engraved and isn't original. If you bought it find out if there's a serial number inside the back cover before you pay for it. |

The reef # is 4002. you can see it on the lower right hand corner of the rotor |

When you said that the reference was 4002 then I assumed that you had been told that from the seller and that it was just too faint to see on the caseback shot - the case is consistent with a 4002. The reference number should not be on the rotor, it should be on the caseback. |

dislike the watch, dial refinished - and not too well. if there is no ref. no. and a 6-digit serial number on/inside the caseback - walk away. |
