Having read most of the posts on BWF and MWR concerning these type of watches, I am still confused.

So, aside from the asking price, what do you think of this Breitling. I know it is re-dialled, but the Bridge stamping, signed crown and Valjoux 23 movement seem to be correct. I note that it does have the continuous serial number inside the back cover.

I greatly appreciate your advice.

Welcome to BreitlingSource.

There are legitimate monopusher RCAF Breitlings, but anything from this seller should be avoided at all cost. He has been banned from this site under multiple usernames and is well known in the Breitling community as a pusher of fakes, frankenwatches and pieces with dubious history, usually with ridiculous claims about them being rare prototypes. I cannot, in good faith, say that any piece that has passed through his hands is legitimate in any way - his reputation causes me to be highly sceptical about anything associated with him.

Hi Roff,

I greatly appreciate your input and will steer clear of this piece. I'm building a personal database of serial numbers that fall into the 'not so good' category. I shall continue my search.
