seller has removed the ref. and serial from the pics, but it looks perfectly ok for a mid 40s ref. 769 - how did I miss this, went for an excellent price, please make sure to have it serviced !

Price likely lower because the pictures aren't the greatest, but agree with Fred (of course) that it looks perfectly correct.

. . . I think I can see the traces of the serial number on the caseback. The softer gold will make that wear more than our usual stainless steel casebacks.

Well, this is interesting. I recd a "second chance offer" and an elaborate email that seems to be from ebay and has all of my information: user name, full name, address, etc. along with detailed instructions on how to pa by wire transfer to a Barclays Bank acct in the UK. It's clearly a scam. But UNBELIEVABLY good....unless I'm completely paranoid. Nothing appears in eBay as a second chance offer. Amazing. Will fwd it to anyone take a look and tell me if I'm nuts.

There is an active eBay 2nd chance scam right now with Barclays as one of the banks - http://www.scamwarners.com/forum/viewto ... =6&t=70120

saw that email, clearly a scam; worryingly elaborate and quite well done, as long as you disregard the wrong sender email from a .info domain.

buyer was Bill Shaine btw., no way he backed out willingly to allow second chance offers.

Yeah, you now I'm at a safari lodge in the bush using an iPad so things like headers, email addresses, etc nt so clear at first glance. Obviously no Paypal was the giveaway but was frighteningly well done. And the fact that they have all my data -- name, email address, etc. is particularly worrying...
