would not buy from this seller, even if it were authentic. he claims it is a model exclusively issued to the Italian army - but it seems to be a production run of one piece, not documented anywhere. your conclusion ? |

the only Breitlings after WWII without 6- or 7-digit serial numbers that seem above doubt are the Diver models 3865/3875 & 3962, these carry 5-digit serial numbers. ![]() |

Likelihood of a 100% authentic watch from that seller is infinitessimally small, stay well clear. |

He's a front for the biggest crook involved with vintage Breitlings - someone who tries to pass off fakes as 'rare prototypes' and has many, many dubious practices.
