Thank you everyone. I did see the lume had flaked off, I assume this watch would have attracted more attention and ultimately sold for more money had if been intact?

I'm planning on wearing this watch, and from what I can tell from my research even despite the condition of the lume, $3000 is reasonable for am original example? Although it will never be a sought after as one in pristine condition, I like to think as long as it is kept in good original condition the watch will maintain it's value and look damn good on my wrist!
