I am far from an expert, but that looks nothing like a Breitling to me.

friends, the vintage world is a bit tricky. I'm by no means a "vintage" Quartz expert, but Breitling did produce some Quartz watches for Chronosport and (later) DPW, the watch looks almost identical to the Breitling Tabarly from the mid 1980s - but calling it a "Breitling" is a bit of a stretch.

So it may be a chronosport with a breitling face

Possibly. It certainly isn't 100% correct but I believe that there are some real elements here, and the dial certainly looks real Breitling.

Looks fine to me. Just the Chronosport version of the Tarbaly series by Breitling. Breitling supplied both the two button and three button quartz UDT's to Chronosport in addition to a few others. Here's another Chronosport I had last year which probably was also done by Breitling.
