unusual to say the least. the crown and the incorrect post67 TopTime dial (behind a wrong tachy ring) might be authentic, so it does classify as Franken. :shock:

did not find info about patent 236672 in the database, so no leads what this might have been.

sad piece, hope nobody is tempted.

for comparison, this is how a 1965 Top Time looks.

lol.. just spent the past few minutes looking at the pic thinking "gee... I thought I was slowly learning how to spot a fake top time.. but I can't see anything that fred has listed here!" then realised I was looking at the pic of the real one, and not the fake as I misread your post to be!
