Looks like a nice original 18k 789 from 1945.

Chrono function is not working but other than that the watch keeps good time. Don't you think it is something missing on my movement or its just Breitling modification?

What is a proper English name for this part and/or part number (bestfit)? Any suggestions where to look for?

No one can answer that accurately without disassembling the movement - who knows what might be missing that can't be seen!

The post on the 4 wheel has been broken and the drive wheel is missing. Parts are around $40 and the movement has to be completely dissassembled to make the repair.

Are those parts interchangeable with later venus and/or valjoux movements? They look very similar.
Thank for all your help and
Happy New Year

Venus cal 150,152, 175 and 178 for sure will work. I think Venus cal 188 and Valjoux cal 7730 are the same. Others would not work. Going by "look" does not work.
