| Post subject: | eBay replacement parts |
What is the general consensus on the replacement parts that are on eBay? Are they as readily faked as watches are? Seems like that would be a lot of work for a mostly under $50 part? The dials might be a different story though. I could see those being faked a lot. Is there anything to look out for, like all the watches from Argentina? Thanks, Steve |

That's a rather general question. There are genuine Breitling parts on eBay and there are plenty of parts that have Breitling claims added to them with no good reason. From a movement standpoint unless it's a bridge or a balance cock (in a chronogaph) or a plate (in a time only piece) then the parts are identical regardless of which manufacturer used them. |
