Greg, pics are not too good, no movement pics but dial seems refinished, hands wrong, correct pieces for the claimed WWII period would have a model reference on the outside of the caseback, no serial no. visible, at least. starting bid would be optimistic for a perfectly preserved, correct piece. no.

:strummin: In fact this wonderful watch is 100% genuine. As very few people know , during the WW2 Breitling held a secret base in Australia , to anticipate a possible german invasion in Switzerland - their target was the swiss chocolate industry . This model is a rare survivor of the series of watches destinated to be offered to every Jeep happy driver. Even our great friend Michael never got such a gem! :santa:
