http://www.ebay.com/itm/AUTHENTIC-BREIT ... 3f1b349690 this seems to be an example how good the fakers have become; the reference number 173 is correct for a "round case, square buttons, pulsations scale" V170, but the serial is totally off, 7 digits, even if you ignore the last digit it would put the production date in the mid 1950s - a decade later than this watch would have been produced with this movement and dial. seller "vintagetraderonline" is well known for "high quality" Frankenfakes. will be interesting to watch how high it will go. |
