Hello,

I recently bought a vintage Breitling on eBay, and I wanted to get your opinion on whether it was genuine or not. I've put below a couple of photos from the auction. Would really appreciate any help or guidance.

Frst link isn't working, but was it a Chinese seller?

Looks like one of the many being produced out there I'm afraid.

No model number, Breitling on caseback looks off, don't like the movement engraving either.

Thanks for the fast reply!

It was a UK seller actually rather than China or Argentina which I was looking out for. I've got some more info if it's useful. The inside caseback reads "2917" and the clean movement reads "Breitling 220".

Thanks again, appreciate the help.

dial actually seems ok to me, saw several of these - most in worse condition. do not have Richter with me to verify the model, but seems alright to me for a mid 50s dress.
definitely not China, I think.

Looks fine to me for a watch that dates to 1956.

I'll defer to Fred and Paul - dress watches aren't my best area.
