Hey there! My wife received a vintage watch, once belonging to her grandfather. We have no idea how old, or which model it is?!? I looked it up on the internet, but never a identical watch. No serialnr. at the back, only '1188'... No 'Geneve' at the 1... 'Incabloc' at the 6... Is this some subtype of Cadette? Many thanks in advance! Br, Sven |

model number is correct for the Cadette range, would assume you will find a Venus 188 and a late 40s serial number inside the caseback. |

We need to see the inside of the caseback to see the serial number, and then we can date it. Venus 188 is a well known chronograph movement, do a search here and you'll find quite a few examples of them. |
