My guess would be it has the wrong dial. 1965 is pretty late for black subs I think. The Iraqi back would require the Iraqi wings on the dial. |

Definitely too late, 62 is about as late as it ever gets for all black I think. |

Thanks guys, true, surely a rare franken;) and contrary to what the seller says he loves:) Quote: I love Breitlings from the 1950′s and 1960′s but they have to be absolutely original and this Navitimer one of the best I’ve ever seen.

seller is quite full of it, have a look at the 782 he is selling - for "only" $5,500, dial refinished. do not think there was a combination of "new" non-beaded bezel and all black dial. |
