Real yes, original, no. The outer sliderule at least is a replacement and who knows what's going on inside.

The seller tells that the watch would have been overhauled at a Breitling Service Center. It would not be the first time that they salvage an authentic watch by replacing original worn components by further parts . Do not forget that all parts stocks have been dispatched in 1979 and for this reason Breitling SA is not able to supply vintage parts . :guns: :guns: :guns:
It is always an error to trust them for vintage watches !

Thanks Roff, Saabreit. Surely sending vintages to Brieitling without proper instructions to them to maintain their originality would ring huge alarm bells.
