Hello-- I'm very, very, very new to Breitling vintage but fell for the look of a beautiful Chrono 2 being sold but would like some help validating it's authenticity and getting additional info from those more knowledgeable than I am--a few notes: ** The bars are fixed ** The caseback doesn't have numbers but reads "FOND ACIER" and "INOXYDABLE" on two lines and appears to be in pretty new condition (maybe a replacement?) ** I'm guessing the dial may have been refinished, as well as the hands Pictures below/attached (some came from the original ad) and I welcome thoughts and any info on this model and possible year. Like I said I stumbled on it and loved the look of the dial, although the smaller size surprised me a bit. Happy to take other iphone pix as helpful. Many thanks for taking the time and expertise. Welcome to BreitlingSource. The dial is very badly redone and I don't believe that watch started life as a Breitling. Would be interesting to know if there are any numbers on the inside of the caseback, but doubt that it will change my mind. |

Thanks for your note and I appreciate your feedback and welcome others, please. There are no engraved numbers in the caseback, only lightly etched ones as if they were scratched in by a watchmaker etc. Thanks |
