Question! How do you get a case looking that bad.I would hate to try to polish the scratches out!!!! |

Looks fine to me, and the case doesn't look too bad for me given that it's close to 50 years old. |

Dial, all hands and sliderule ring seem to be all authentic , I actually like this dial layout with the AOPA wing very clean movement with the right markings (WOG) I am disappointed with the case a little bit as it looks like the watch was not taken apart before cleaning , you can still see the green oxidation on the bottom side of the pushers and crown . serial number dates it to 1963, and here's my one question : "were there still 806's with an AOPA marked wing in '63?, or was there another run with an AOPA wing on the dial and not just the AOPA shaped wing " (I dont know) oh, and the crown seems a bit large for the watch ? |
