Not. Fake. Probably correct 'D' marked German ww2 piece but an obvious redial. I mean why the British broadarrow on a German watch? http://www.ebay.com/itm/GERMAN-WWII-LUFTWAFFE-BREITLING-PILOT-D-WATCH-/160745216415?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item256d29599f |

The band is reversed at the 12 position. See the 18mm. (inside out) |

There's a heck of a lot more wrong with this than a strap on backwards. Yet another example of a perfectly good watch ruined in an attempt to create a more valuable piece. |

From the seller; "Of course, this was a British capture watch, but the "D" mark denote that original was designed to The German LuftwaffeThanks for asking. It,s 100% autentic that why it's interesting this watch, also the leather straps have a waffen amt prof marks.Any way I detail the watch the more that I can,but it was a German designation and capture in England after the battle of England,I bought this watch in England with other german watch around 40 years ago when I was in the Army." |
