I am not sure that dial is original either, the print looks gilt to me which would point to a 18K gold model , not SS ? the NON-AOPA typically were much later produced but it has the slightly 'down curved wing tips' typical for V72's and I am not sure the dial feet from a 178 dial would fit a V72 movement ? strange combination |

Maybe they are painted? About the dial could it just be the patina instead of gilt?
