Post subject:  Believable story?

A bit hard to believe this story from a active seller who's done more than 3000+ transactions but then who knows, it could be true since saw he only sells dolls:)

This watch is one of the first to my understanding as it has no numbers on dial it is a #806 from the 1950's. My father owned a flight school in TOLEDO, OH and somehow he had aquired this watch. It was recently found in a drawer to our surprise. I wound it and it is ticking. the smaller LEFT Circle is moving and well I don't know what the rest do. I relize it should have a leather band, and yes there are some scratches however I didn't want anything done to it. The manual I believe is from a later watch do to the fact it has the numbers on the dial. Both Items will go to the winning bidder. I believe it to be one of the first so maybe 1956-57. Thanks for viewing. I will insure and track with a box priority. As stated I am not a watch expert however it is ticking and sure it can be serviced. Thanks

no, seller just knows nothing about Navitimers, this is a early/mid 60s
re Navi history Kurt has sent you a link to his article, or check http://www.lesmala.net/jean-michel/navitimer/index2.htm, the link "50 years" gives you a good overview, though Jean-Michel still lists the "Gen I" from 1952 that (most probably) never existed.
