Post subject:  Is this 806 original?

Saw quite a few bids on this, is it all original?

What's confusing is he says

Quote:
MINT 1957 VINTAGE BREITLING AOPA NAVITIMER 806 1ST GENERATION BEADEDED BEZEL
CUSTOM LIZARD STRAP MADE TO BREITLING SPEC. VENUS 178

MINT EARLY
VINTAGE (1957)
1st PERIOD
BREITLING NAVITIMER
AOPA
BEADED BEZEL
VENUS 178 MOVEMENT
CUSTOM LIZARD STRAP MADE TO ORIGINAL VINTAGE SPECIFICATIONS

and then says

Quote:
This watch is 41 mms. It is in nice condition, and all functions work well. It was made in 1965, with a Venus 178 movement. Breitling Navitimers were originally produced in 1954 (not 1952 as claimed by Breitling), and the Navitimer with the famous Venus 178 manual movement remained Breitling's most successful watch throughout the 50s and 60s until the rights to manufacture the watch were sold in the early 70s. More history appears below.

Bill Shaine often has problems with cut&paste from one listing to the next, this definitely looks like a 1957, case/bezel in nice condition.

It's fine. You can trust Bill as a seller.
