the undisputed "vintage laugh of the month" viewtopic.php?f=31&t=34314 from ebay seller aerozakaz-g sold for $2,000+ and I knew I had seen these "original dials" before, out of the Ukraine !

seller trusteboy12 proudly claims to have sold more than 700 watches this year to the US alone, 400+ more to other countries, shudder ....

here is his latest "BREITLING Vintage 1940's Men's Chronograph Wristwatch":
http://www.ebay.com/itm/BREITLING-Vinta ... 2617310393

the "laugh of the month" potentially had at least some original parts, this is totally fake.
a mid 1980s logo on a 40s vintage watch
a caliber never used by Breitling during this period (if ever)
no model number, no serial number

I have reported this as a fake, please help reporting to get this ugly POS removed !

Reported - "Total garbage. Logo didn't exist until 1984, caseback should have model and serial #s if genuine."

I think this seller (Trusteboy12) is well known on the BS vintage forum. I'm sure he sold this watch or one similar a few months ago.

Reported

Edit: I've spoken to seller. He admits dial is 'new' but seems to think its ok as "movement is 100% original".

I hope Ebay don't pull this one so Bentley_boi can buy it.

Edit2: Gone :cheer:

Ebay did remove it, although I think we should leave the next abomination for bentley_boi, this notorious faker deserves the honor to count him among his many happy customers !

No part of this watch was authentic, neither the dial, the case nor the movement. A look at the other vintag watches this guy sells is a real eye opener.

the "vintage laugh of the month" from October viewtopic.php?f=31&t=34314 is back, again out the US from "arerokaz-g, apparently the buyer who bought this for $2,000+ backed out:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mens-BREITLIN ... 20bea1d0d0

so let us try to disbalance Mr. aerokaz !
reported as fake
mid 1980s Breitling logo on a "Circa - 1930 – 1940" watch, on a "original dial" !
no correct model reference number
no correct serial number
(and no "19 jewels" on a Venus 170, of course)

+1, but very subtly  - "Total garbage from a persistent scammer who needs to be banned. Dial logo didn't exist until 1984."
