Post subject:  REAL 1930'S OR FAKE ?

Hello,

I am a new member and I just purchased this very old watch.

Could you please tell me if this one is real and if so which year it was produced and the movement type ?

Dial seems original with FAB SUISSE from Frabication Suisse (Swiss made)
Case number 345679
No reference number (maybe this is normal for a 1930's Breitling ?)
Movement without any marking

Thanks a lot,

Serge

I'm sorry that watch has just had Breitling added to the dial of a no name watch.

Could you please tell me how you know this ?

Isn't the dial original ?
Were there always a reference number even in the 1930's ?

Thanks

I don't believe that the dial is completely original, the Breitling and Fab Suisse looks way too cramped on that dial, but heck I've been wrong before :!: See what others think.

my feeling is similar to Roff's, have yet to see a convincing Breitling from this period without ref. no., dial does not "feel right".
