Happy Christmas to all of you - and yes, we are, I assume, all in agreement the serial number tells us the year of case production; nothing more, but very nice to have. So the OP watch was assembled somtime after mid 1947, probably before the end of the 1940s.

What still puzzles me is that we see both WOG and BOW markings for that period, we only know that BOW dispappeared in late 1955, then we have WOG alone until 1967.

We started too late to assemble those data, would have been great to hear what Icko had to say ....
