Strange looking Nav dating to 1970. Looks to me as if someone has installed a Wakmann movement in it but rather unusual with the early style bridge. Sweep second hand reminds me of some I have seen on LIP watches.

Why co-branded? Caliber taken of from a Wakmann chrono recased in a Navi . Sweephand from a Lip Nautic Ski or somethink like that .
Lip in Besançon - France was acting as a " global player"
1/ manufacturing their own watches - including some chronos with V178 inside -
2/ assemblying some Breitling watches ( Navi, Cosmo, Avi , 815 ) with co- branded dials for the french market
3/ manufacturing watches for Wakmann under Gigandet and Wakmann brands
4/ distrubuting several high end swiss brands on the french market
5/ distributing horological supplies on the french market
