I have not received the watch yet but I've got some slightly better photos. My old man knows nothing about these things but was not impressed by the weight. What do you think?

Would like to see a movement pic, but nothing scares me about what I do see - all appears to be correct. Lume has come off the hands, but no big surprise there.

looks good, just like I thought/hoped it would from the blurry listing pics.

early ref. 2008, case is in exceptionally good condition, many of these have massive damage around the lugs, case is base metal (hence the non-impressive weight) and often does not age well.

dial condition seems excellent, movement will most probably be a Venus 188 (might be already marked R7730) - see no reason at all to expect a nasty surprise there.

If you get a new crystal that face will be a beaut. A nice catch well done
