I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on this 'Breitling Montbrillant' watch from the 1940's that has been advertised on eBay. I obviously have my suspicions, but it is still a good looking item. If it is a frakenwatch, is there any sort of value to it ?
With thanks, Andrew

his latest "MAGNIFICENT 1960's STEEL BREITLING COSMONAUTE 24 HOUR GENTS VINTAGE WATCH" -
yours for ONLY $6,800+ - is actually quite funny, turns out to be a Lemania Cossie from the early 1990s:

Love the 90s Cossie listing - that's hilarious.

even this one is questionable to put it very mildly , Roff !
have a look at the dial, seems - rather incompetently - refinished.

Breitling Geneve is wrong for these too.

Might The Enlightened Sage have moved to the UK ?

It does reek of that a little bit - although without the professional pictures.
