I've decided to sell my 1946 Breitling ref 174 chronograph. It's a pretty scarce watch and an early example from Breitling of a water resistant screw back case with round pushers. The watch is in great condition for it's age and comes with the reliable Venus 170 movement which I had serviced this past September (receipt provided). The dial does have some age spotting visible from certain angles but, overall, has a nice patina. It measure around 36mm and I have it on a new Hirsch leather strap. I've sort of migrated to quartz watches the last few years so have decided to let this one go. If you're looking for a vintage piece but worried about authenticity then this is the kind of example you want. It shows the reference number and serial number on the back and the movement is also properly signed. No problems here. Asking $1300 delivered in the US. Not looking for any trades.
