Good afternoon. I am new to the forum. I have a 1965 Top Time that my father gave me. My son is getting married in a few months and I am going to pass this watch on to him to hopefully pass onto his son when he has one and gets married. I am trying to find an authentic Breitling box for the watch. Any suggestions? Thank you for your help.
Agree with Driver8 that eBay might be your only hope but warn you that they can go for many hundreds of pounds/dollars (like 4 or 5) these days - for a bit of cardboard. And they are also quite small, although authentic. If you are interested in another idea if one does not turn up, Id suggest one of the relatively newer Breitling Bakelite boxes with the yellow script that has a vintage feel and Im sure would be appreciated in enhancing the overall feeling of the gift. Make sure it has the insert that holds the watch inside the box.
Here is a sample eBay listing. Search for "Breitling bakelite box". Not authentic to your watch but a good look I think.
