Hello all - I have for you a 1969 Sprint that I purchased in 2017.

The backstory is that I had an amazing time finding, and having this watch restored. Unfortunately, after all the research and money I've put into it, it has never made it into my rotation. I think it is time that it goes to a wrist that is going to love it.

It is certainly not in "mint" condition, although it is in pretty remarkable shape, with a full spa treatment in 2017. It looks as though the previous owner had it serviced where they had given it a polish. The hands have the original lume, although when I had it serviced he was very concerned that more would fall out, he offered to re-lume - "NOOO!" I exclaimed, so there's where that stands. There are no gaskets on the pushers because, despite his status as a Breitling repair person, sourcing those gaskets seems to be a challenge.

The invoice from the service reads:
Overhaul, replace shock spring for balance, mainspring, back gasket and stem. Does not test water resistant.

I replaced the strap the previous owner had on it with something that was more period appropriate (not original) with the signed tang buckle.

Admittedly, I'm not a regular on Breitling Source, so feel free to message me with inquiries about other references in the watch community. Friends from Redbar Seattle, or others in the Grand Seiko community. I totally understand the "buy the buyer" concept and will do what I can to help you purchase with confidence. In exchange, I would request that payment be by wire only unless we have a mutual friend that we can sort out. The original thread where I pester poor WatchFred in my research, can be found here: https://breitlingsource.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=63148

$2850 shipped conus, or $2,950 for ROW (excluding the standard cast of questionable countries.)

This price is a break-even price after the service. I am not a dealer or a flipper, so please, no low ball offers. If you want to provide your own label, that is certainly an option to discuss.

Sorry, didn't notice that the verification picture didn't upload due to size. Carry on. :D
