Prime candidate for a restoration for a watch that is currently appreciating in value. Analogue works, digital element doesn't (fixes here http://www.crazywatches.pl/omega-1611-c ... atros-1975) 1976 vintage, this is a limited edition (15,000) commemorative watch for the 76 Olympics at Montreal. As you can see the digital display is not working. Generally the watch requires some light attention or reconditioning, or could be used as a parts bin. I had considered keeping this for my own spares as these are becoming increasingly rarer. The analogue time works and date perfectly but the pin is bent when it is pulled out. However the time and date can still be set as required. The screen appears to be in good condition. The bezel has minor marks expected with age. The bracelet is marked in particular around the clasp. It is a brushed finish and could be cleaned up. This is the original and heavier bracelet. The other bracelet came later from what I understand and is slightly thinner and lighter service bracelet. No box or papers. Any view. In Swindon wilts. Any questions please ask. Its on ebay but taking offers. Thanks |
