FSOT: Breitling lip Chronomat 808. 38mm diameter without the crown. Dates to 1960's era. Also comes with non original vintage Breitling box, rare Breitling in Wonderland slide rule booklet. Watch is on a Breitling 18-16 crocodile band with Breitling buckle.
Watch was oiled and cleaned by a local watchmaker on September 1, 2015. Functioning very well. Chronograph sets and starts without issue and resets to 0. Running at approximately +4s/day. All original as confirmed by the watchmaker except the band and buckle. There is an issue with the outer bezel ring as it does not sit flush with the dial. The watchmaker informed me that the outer bezel is warped and I did want him to bend the bezel. Does not impede with functionality. Bezel turns smoothly and freely.
There are scratches on the acrylic crystal, case, and caseback/lugs. Biggest scratch is on the caseback where someone tried to open the back. Everything else is minor and polishable. Croc band has some minor wear but overall in great condition with plenty of life left.
The watch in the pictures is the one for sale. It ships from Burnaby, BC or Blaine, WA. Asking $3600 USD OBO. Price is inclusive of PP fees and shipping. As for trades, I will entertain most major brands such as Rolex, Omega, AP, Breitling, Panerai, etc.
