SOLD

I find myself in the rather strange situation of owning two SubC's, my green dialled LV and a newly acquired black dial LN. As I'm a bit of strap changer, one will live exclusively on the bracelet, and the other on Rubber B/Nato, so one bracelet is now surplus to requirements.

Perhaps you bought a head only Submariner Ceramic and need a bracelet? Maybe you wish to remove the polished centre links on your GMTIIc and benefit from the Glide Lock at the same time? Or best of all, you have the older Sub or GMT Master and want to upgrade to the modern, solid link bracelet, combining the best of both worlds, a classic look, slim lugged sports Rolex, but with the improvements of the newer models..?

Fitment
The 97200 Bracelet with GlideLock clasp is supplied on the current Submariner Ceramic Date 116610, LN or LV and the Submariner 114060. It also fits the current GMT Master II Ceramic 116710, whether it's the LN or the BLNR, ideal for losing the PCL's and gaining the advantage of GlideLock over the Comfort Clasp.

I understand from various forum sources on the web, that the 97200 bracelet will also fit the previous Submariner Date 16610 including Kermit, the Sea-Dweller 16600 and the 16710 GMT, providing you use the original watch supplied Spring Bars rather than modern ones. I doubt it will fit the 14060, and am unaware of any other fitments, so please do your own investigations before committing to purchase.

If you are simply desperate for the functionality of the GlideLock clasp, you can remove it from this 97200 and fit it to most Oyster Bracelets.

Condition
I asked the wife to examine the condition and she exclaimed that it looked "brand new". I'm not going to be that optimistic. It is a used bracelet and will show light signs of wear, but there is nothing that stands out, and I think the pictures illustrate that. Other than some inevitable light marks, and some operational marking, I struggle to see how anyone could be disappointed with the condition. This has been removed from a 2014 Submariner, the bracelet is in perfect working order throughout and all links are present and correct. Spring bars are not included.

Price/Trades
It's a very difficult thing to price, as these rarely come up for sale. While I can find no solid evidence of the retail price from Rolex, various forum sources would indicate it is around the £2000+ mark. Any pre-owned sales I have seen range from £1400-£1750.

Whilst I appreciate that it's an incredible bracelet, one of the best around, I can only be realistic with my expectations and don't expect nearly as much as the above. SOLD I would like £900 inclusive of UK Postage by Royal Mail Special Delivery SOLD, less than half of the suspected UK retail price.

Of course, a face-to-face is always welcomed for any fellow highlanders or reluctant travellers.

This is for sale only, and I'm not looking for any trades.

I have a few references here, and my H&V Hero feedback speaks for itself thanks to many great deals over on TZ-uk, feel free to have a look.

Looking forward to your PM's.

Cheers, Ross.
