For Sale is my 1974 Breitling 815 Long Playing Triple Register gold capped. The Valjoux 7736 handwind keeps very good time and the chrono buttons work as they should and reset perfectly. It is called a long playing because of its 52 hour reserve. I think it should be because the swirl registers (which, along with the dial seem to change color depending on the light) look like LPs --they are black but sometimes look deep reddish brown). The crown is not signed but I am told that they were not in 1974 but it matches the cap perfectly. It carries with it normal signs of wear for a 41 year old and I have priced it accordingly. But it is in terrific shape. The serial number is clearly visible on the back.
The Valjoux 7736 is a great movement. It is clean and correctly signed.
Would like $1500 for it but expect offers, so please do. Will come on a black nylon strap. Shipping is CONUS. No returns.
