Now SOLD

In my view, the perfect Speedmaster, the 1962 Tribute, First Omega in Space, Numbered Edition 311.32.40.30.01.001. Working exactly as it should, running well within the guidelines set by COSC at around +2 seconds over a 24hr period.

Specifications
If you’re familiar with the Speedy Professionals, prepare for a raft of welcome revisions and something which wears similar, but suitably different to what you're used to.

There are various changes and improvements over the Pro model, including the case size, alpha hands, straight lugs, sapphire, caseback, crown guards, applied logo, etc. You can find more information from Omega HERE.

What's included?
Everything, it's a full set. Large outer box, Limited Edition inner watch box and cushion, both matching serial cards/papers in leather holder and hang tag, complete with all manuals, and an insurance valuation for the current retail of £3400. I will also include a high quality rally strap with another Omega Buckle.

As this is a numbered/limited edition, if it's important to you, this particular watch is in the low 500's. It was UK AD Supplied in 2013, from Beaverbrooks, and remains under warranty until 2015.

Condition
Nothing, really, to note here. It is in almost mint condition. To the naked eye, and on the wrist, it looks nothing short of new. It’s highly unlikely the buyer would be disappointed with the condition.

As with all my descriptions though, to satisfy those with watch OCD like me, and to avoid disappointment, I will be extra critical. Under strong lighting, the polished lugs may have the tiniest of wear marks (you know the kind, the marks you only see in direct sunlight or under a loupe and wonder how they got there) and one of the brushed case sides has a really insignificant and close to unnoticeable rub. The crystal and bezel look immaculate. The caseback has suffered a little from light rub marks from when the watch head has been placed down in a resting position. Both the OEM Brown strap and the Black Rally show very little signs of use and are completely clean. There are no scratches or dinks to my eye.

It’s usual for anyone I’ve dealt with in the past to say that the watch is much better than described, and that’s exactly the reaction I want, so I go over the top in criticising. You can rest assured it’s in close to mint condition throughout.

Price
I think it would be easier that this is a UK sale only for hassle free postage purposes.

I would like £2300 SOLD - That's a saving of £1100 off list. Inclusive of RMSD insured for the full amount, payable by Bank Transfer. Of course, a face-to-face is always welcomed for any fellow highlanders.

I have a couple of references from previous deals here, and I'm also happy to supply further references thanks to many deals over on tz-uk.

Looking forward to your PM's.

Cheers, Ross.
