The case and clasp are coated in DLC (Diamond Like Carbon), which provides an ‘ultra resistant’ deep black shine. Measuring in at 49mm, it is a large piece however the lugs point vertically down, and so accommodate nicely for the for the smaller wristed (wears similar sized to 47mm Panerai’s)- my wrists measure 6.75 inches and the rubber strap is cut accordingly to fit although will fit just over 7” wrists. The rubber strap has a very nice taper the way it starts wide from beneath the lugs and tapers in, thus making the watch feel more balanced. The clasp has a system similar (but IMO better) than that of the Sub Glide lock system, whereby quick adjustments an be made (taking the strap to over 7 inches).
I bought this piece brand new last year (June 2013) from Mark Worthington's (Breitling AD in Wilmslow), and so has 5-6 months manufacturer warranty remaining. The watch is in very good overall condition.
