WITHDRAWN -

Gentlemen,

Up for grabs is a very nice Breitling Hide strap. It's the classic Black with contrast Ivory stitching detail. It's a 20mm (20-18), Breitling Reference 428X. It's fitted with a high-polish steel tang buckle, with the original impressed-style Breitling logo.

The chap I got this from reckoned that he'd worn it about half a dozen times in total - the condition would suggest that is probably accurate.

There's a slight sign of use on the underside of one hole (the shortest-but-one setting), and some very light creasing to the lining around it, but apart from that, it's pretty near mint. There's no obvious 'curl' to the strap, the Ivory contrast stitching is immaculate, there's no discolouring to the lining, and there's just the lightest suggestion of creasing to the upper side where the buckle has been fastened. The fixed and floating keepers are in pristine condition.

I've given the mirror-polished tang buckle a gentle touch-up with some 'Mother's' polish, and it looks excellent - if you were to get up close with a loupe, you might find the slightest remainder of some fine microscratches, but I'm being picky, and there's nothing you wouldn't get from a couple of days normal wear.

The pictures are a fair representation of the condition of the strap and buckle.

Measurements: 20mm at Lug fitting end, 18mm at buckle end. 80mm x 120mm

The list price on a new one of these from your friendly AD was £170 last time I checked (2012 Price List), and may be more now.

Anyway, as this is (very slightly) used, and has the older impressed-style logo on the buckle, I'll let this go for a bargain £105 which will include Signed-For First Class postage for the UK (add £9 if you're overseas for tracked/insured shipping, and to cover PayPal fees).

I've loads of Feedback on here, I'm a 'Top Rated' eBay seller (2500+ deals, 100%, username 'goonermike'), and I've got plenty of Feedback on TZ-UK (username 'BigBird'), so there are no worries there.

I'd prefer payment by BT. PayPal if absolutely necessary, or for overseas, but I cannot accept PayPal Gifts (my account just won't accept them, and I get charged even on gifts). So if you want to use PayPal in the UK, it'll be via the 'official' route, and you'll need to add £3 to go towards fees.

If I've missed anything, you'd like more info or pics, please feel free to PM me.

Cheers!
