AND IMMEDIATELY OHPF - Thanks to buyer and BS!

Gentleman and others,

For your perusal, I have a very smart 2003 Black-Dialled Seamaster Professional. This is a 2064.50 Full Size 41.5mm Quartz version. This is exactly the same as the more common 2264.50, but comes with the original 'Bond' bracelet (apparently US and South American AD's weren't that impressed when Omega tried to switch to the newer 'single tramline' version, and so Omega continued to supply the original style bracelet on later version SMPs. The Warranty Card shows that this watch was originally sold in Texas, so bears this out).

You all know about the Seamaster Professional, so I'll keep it relatively brief.

This is the 'Bond' Goldeneye watch, as sported by Pierce Brosnan back in 1995, though this is a 2003 model, the 5th generation if I have my SMP's lined up correctly..

I picked this up as part of a recent deal. The previous owner only wore it for 'special', so it's in super condition. As well as a full set of Box and Papers, he also retained some recent service history (a clasp repair in 2010, and a new battery and reseal from 2011 - both included).

"Condition Report"

Crystal - Sapphire is Mint, I can't see a mark on it. AR Coating is terrific, no marks of any kind.

Dial - Mint - it's a deep Black, the wavy pattern 'guilloche' style - you know what I mean. Quickset Date window at 3, works perfectly.

Lume - Super-Luminova, on hands and markers, outrageous, and lasts for ages.

Bezel - excellent - unidirectional, turns with 120 ratcheted clicks; bevelled edges are still nicely defined, the odd 'shiny' edge or hairline at worst.

Bezel Insert - The bezel insert appears really good, but up close you'll find the odd tiny mark - the 'most' obvious are tiny hairlines in the black at 7 and 17, and a mark on the silver marker at 5. There are some less obvious marks visible under a loupe. Even the 'worst' are very minor, but I like to be thorough.

Hands - All perfect. It's the 'Swords' hands version, which I prefer to the 'skeleton' style, especially as it shows off the astonishing lume much better. Even the Seconds Hand tip is a good red, not faded to pink or white as per normal on these.

Case: Very good to excellent. I can't see any swirls or hairlines, though there may be the odd one I missed (if so, it's tiny). There may be the odd mark on the lugs from bracelet changing (but I doubt it - the previous owner only wore it on the bracelet, and even then not much).

Backcase - very nice, the odd hairline, if anything.

Bracelet - as mentioned, the original 'Bond' double tramlined bracelet (825 32S), currently sized at 7.25" (185mm) - (there are five and a half links one one side, four and a half on the other) - I've got the 2 missing links and pins somewhere, shout if you need them, and I'll undertake a serious search. Very good condition, tramlines are still polished in comparison to main links. No obvious marks or other nastiness, and no stretching.

Clasp - Very good (replaced in 2011) - tiny hairlines visible up close, nothing major. Works perfectly, as does the Diver extension.

Running - it's a 1538 Calibre Omega quartz, rhodium plated (base ETA 255.461), so pretty bloody accurate. It's not gained or lost any time in the few weeks I've had it. The Seconds hand hits the markers (important to some of our more OCD members...). Battery life is 3.5 years so this should be OK until March 2015.

Paperwork - Original hologram Omega Warranty card, dealer completed and dated 6-7-03. White Card wallet. Operating Instructions Hardback Book, Version 1, Mint. Also, original Omega Hang Tag with Model/Serial Numbers. Serial Numbers all present and correct to watch. Clasp repair 2010 and battery/reseal 2011 receipts included.

Boxes: Outer white, intact and quite clean, the odd bump. Foam Insert/Divider both in place. The Inner Red Leather Box is very good, just starting to flake. Inside is fine, and includes the original display cushion.

OK, to the nitty-gritty. Sellers are asking between £1200 and £1600 for a similarly specced one of these on the 'bay. The last one that sold (with suspiciously 'blank' papers) made £1124 (plus £35 shipping).

Form an orderly queue, please - I'd like £899 for this beauty, which will include next day Royal Mail Special Delivery. Overseas will be a little more, for Tracked & Insured shipping, but not stupidly so - I've estimated an extra £9 for Europe, £16 for US and RotW. If you want a specific shipping quote for your country, let me know.

She's not entirely mint (if you've read this far, you'll know that), but I think for very nice condition full size SMP, with Box and Papers, and recent Battery Change and reseal, that's a bit of a bargain!

I'd prefer a straight sale, but if you've something interesting to trade, please feel free to drop me a PM - Breitling and Omega are my main weakness, and I can adjust up or down. Rolex may be another option.

I've loads of Feedback on here, I'm a Top Rated e-bay seller (2400+ deals, 99.9%, username 'goonermike'), and I've got plenty of Feedback on TZ-UK (username 'BigBird'), so there are no worries there.

I'd prefer BT, certainly for UK buyers. PayPal if necessary, or if you're overseas, but I can't accept 'Gifts', so it will be via the 'official' route, and you'll need to add 3.5% to cover fees.

If I've missed anything, you'd like more info or scans, or if you've a Trade in mind, please feel free to PM me.

Cheers!

Mike

Yes, great thread, pics, and watch.
If your buyers wife finds out about this and "cancels the contract" I would respectfully ask to be considered next in line in the queue
