I am looking to sell or trade my Panerai 275 that I bought brand new from Watches of Switzerland, Manchester, 18 months ago.
It is one of the very last collectible dot dial examples that were made.
The 275 is from the Specialities range. Only the Tourbillons are rated higher in the catalogue.
The 1950s case with domed sapphire glass houses an in-house movement with 8 day power reserve, GMT display, day/night indicator, seconds reset and monopulsante chronograph. The latter was utilised to keep the famous crown protector intact.
The watch has been worn regularly but it is in superb condition throughout. It works perfectly and keeps very accurate time.
The watch comes with all the original paperwork and boxes that I received. The black crocodile strap has only ever been worn twice as I much prefer the standard rubber strap.
The retail price of the new, less covetable, AM/PM indicator PAM275 is £12100, with rumours of imminent price increases.
I am asking only £8995. Or I will consider a trade plus cash for your watch.
I would prefer to meet face-to-face for a cash sale. The buyer is welcome to come to my house, which is located between Newark and Lincoln. Alternatively, for complete peace of mind, the buyer is welcome to come to Andrew Michaels Jewellers in Newark where I work. I would just like to re-iterate that this sale has nothing to do with Andrew Michaels Jewellers and is my own personal watch.
The buyer will be responsible for all PayPal, postage fees, etc.
