NOW ON HOLD, PENDING FUNDS.

Thanks to BS for hosting.

Gentlemen,

Up for grabs is a very smart Chrono Colt Superquartz A73350. This is a really attractive Blue Dial/Silver Registers version.

The Chrono Colt SuperQuartz model was produced between 2002 and 2005. Specs and other info can be found here: http://www.breitlingsource.com/watch_de ... e_155.html

Mine' s a December 2002 model, with a Full set of Box & Papers: Outer Yellow Box, Black Bakelite Box (with traditional dodgy hinges and unglued lettering ), Hang Tag, COSC Certificate, Dealer Stamper Warranty Booklet, Distributor's Booklet, Instruction Manual, Yellow Booklet wallet.

CONDITION REPORT:

Crystal: The Sapphire Crystal is in excellent order - no visible marks of any kind. The Anti-Reflective coating appears pristine, and really helps the dial 'pop'.

Dial: 'Guilloche' Blue Dial, with 3 Sub-Dial Registers in a metallic Silver/Steel finish. Left Upper register is Chrono Hours, Right Upper register is Chrono Minutes, while the lower register is the main time Seconds hand. Black Steel 'spear' indicators on the registers. Applied Steel markers for numbers, with lumed tips. Lume is excellent. Applied Breitling Logo in steel. Minute Marker Track to outer of dial. Tachymeter Scale Chapter Ring. Overall excellent condition.

'Quickset' Date window at 4 o'clock, adjusts and changes correctly.

Hands: Hour and Minute hands are tapered steel 'swords', segmented, with a luminous fill. Lume is excellent. The central Chronograph hand is steel, needle style with a red-tipped point tip, and a fancy 'B' counterbalance. All are in immaculate condition.

Case: The case is a classic diver-style, in mirror-polished steel. Condition is excellent, and I'm struggling to find anything worse than the odd hairlline mark on the high-polish finish. No nicks or dinks.

Caseback: The caseback is a 14-sided screwback type. Markings are clear, including Model and Serial numbers (the Serial Number didn't photograph too well, but is present), with some minor hairline scratches at worst.

Bezel: There is a unidirectional steel bezel, in highly-polished steel, with a 'studded' grip side, which rotates fully in 120 ratcheted clicks. The steel 'chimney' which normally picks up scratches is sharp and clear of marks. The satin-brushed surface of the bezel top is free of marks apart from a hairline at 36/37, and the 'fill' is present in all numbers/increments. The polished rider tabs are crisp and bright. So pretty much excellent overall.

Crown/Pushers: All original Push-Down ridged-edge steel crown, clear 'B' signed. Two steel pushers. Super condition, all work perfectly.

Movement/Running: Breitling 73 'Superquartz' Movement (based on the ETA Thermoline 251.232), so amazingly accurate, apparently to +-10 seconds per year. I've had this a few weeks, and it hasn't gained or lost at all. The Chrono functions perfectly, with a crisp flyback to zero on both registers and Chrono hand.

Strap: Currently mounted on a well-used OEM Breitling 'Plongeur' Blue fabric strap (18-16) with Breitling tang buckle. The strap is perfectly wearable, though does have some wear, especially on the long side (see pics). Holes and keepers are fine. Tang buckle is very good, with minor micro-scratches. I've polished it, and it looks fine.

If you're not mad on the idea of a used strap, I'm also including a brand new 'BOB' 'Blueberry' Blue/Ivory Calf padded leather strap, which arrived from Germany this week, and is gorgeous (see photos), and really complements the Dial. I'd suggest fitting that, but switching buckles with the Breitling Tang. If you don't want the BOB, knock £20 off the price.

Measurements: Width (without Crown): 38mm. Thickness: 13mm. Lug-to-lug: 42.5mm. Lug Width 18mm. Weight 77 grams

Other: This is over 9 years old, but it really is in great condition. I got my watchmaker (Steve, Ryte Time) to give the movement an inspection, and all's fine. Timekeeping is scarily accurate - no gain or loss at all - though that's to be expected from a SuperQuartz movement. You're getting the full Box set with Papers, including COSC and original Warranty. The new BOB Blue/Ivory strap is a lovely match to the steel/blue/silver head, and it'll take a second to switch the original tang buckle from the used 'Plongeur' strap if you want to go for the 'new' look.

The going rate for these seems to be around £1100, and £1200 or more with a Full Set of Box & Papers, and up to £1400 or more if on the original bracelet. Bearing in mind that mine has an original strap, plus a new Bob, and a full set of Box and Papers, I'll put this up at an extremely reasonable £979 NOW £899 - that will include Next Day RMSD for UK Buyers. Overseas will be a little extra - contact me for exact Shipping costs based on destination, as I'll use a Courier (Fed-Ex/UPS) for safer Tracked Shipping. If you don't want the new BOB strap, you can reduce the price by £20.

I've loads of Feedback on here, I'm a 'Top Rated' e-bay seller (2390+ deals, 100%, username 'goonermike'), and I've got plenty of Feedback on TZ-UK ('BigBird'), so there are no worries there.

I'd prefer BT, certainly for UK buyers. I can accept PayPal if absolutely necessary, or for overseas, but I cannot accept PayPal Gifts (my account just won't accept them, and I get charged even on gifts). So if you want to use PayPal, it'll be via the 'official' route, and you'll need to add 3.4% to cover Fees.

If I've missed anything, you'd like more info or pics, please feel free to PM me.

Cheers!

Thanks pspinc2003,

I try to be thorough - it saves on questions, and if somebody's going to spend significant money on a watch, they don't want any surprises when it arrives!

Cheers
