STUNNING CONDITION....IN THE UK!

Of all the high end watches I've owned in the past few years, this has stayed the longest. It's combination of diver style, chronograph, day and date etc just give it so much versatility that really, this could be the only watch you ever need.

The pictures I saw of this watch before I bought it, never seemed to do it any justice and neither do mine :-D In reality, the sapphire crystal bezel insert and AR coating on the crystal over the dial, give it a super glossy look without loads of reflections. IWC are very, very good at cases and lume, with the Aqua Timer series being amongst their best work in my opinion.

The watch was purchased by the first owner, a TZer, in March 2012. It therefore has warranty remaining until March 2014. Both of us have looked after this watch very well and as a result, it is in superb condition. There are no dinks whatsoever and just a few hairlines on the polished areas. It seems to be made from very good quality steel.

The Aquatimer Chrono functions...

- Chronograph pushers that can be used under water up to its maximum rating of 120M... similar to the Breitling M1 but of course this is an Automatic :-)
- Incredible lume which is visible on the Hour, Minute and Seconds-subdial hand and through the sapphire crystal bezel insert... looks incredible at night and shines until the morning!
- Different coloured minute hand for use with the uni-directional rotating 60 minute timing bezel
- IWC has employed Cartier's quick-change strap system... you don't even need a tool to change the strap! Just press the lever with your finger nail and the strap is released from the watch. It takes less than 10 secs to change over!
- Day and Date function with black background to match the detailed main dial
- 12 hour chronograph function with hours, minutes and seconds
- Mainly a brushed case with polished areas. The brushing is done incredible well with perfectly vertical lines visible within... it looks brilliant.
- Solid steel caseback that never feels uncomfortable

So in all, just a superb watch that is incredibly versatile and will suit any occasion.

PICS..

One thing that I forgot to mention was the lume. not only do all the numbers on the bezel glow, but also the yellow '15 minute dive' bar. this is a very cool look

PRICE..

£2850

TRADES..

I'm only really interested in a certain number of watches as trades as I have my eye on something that I could really do with all these funds for BUT you never know what might tickle my fancy. At the moment I have a yearning for IWC 3717, Breitling Emergency in yellow, Breitling with UTC/Co pilot, ceramic PO Chrono..but WHY?
