NOW OHPF (off Forum).

Thanks to BS for the facility as always.

Gentlemen,

The thinning of the herd continues...

Next up for grabs is a lovely Breitling SuperOcean Heritage 46, the A17320.
Specs and other useful info can be found here: http://www.breitlingsource.com/watch...itage_126.html

This automatic model, which incorporates the Breitling 17 Movement (modified ETA 2824-2) is still under warranty (until 5 September 2013). The '46' is the size - the case size on this beast is 46mm without the crown! It's the most popular Black Dial and Bezel version, and is set on the Ocean Racer rubber strap with the superb Push-Button clasp with micro-adjuster. The previous owner had the OR rubber cut to size, so I've fitted a brand new one, ready for the new owner.

It's a full set, triple-boxed (everything minty, including the Bakelite box), with a COSC certificate, stamped and dated warranty card (September 2011), the User Manual, the hang tag, and the document wallet. It's in terrific condition, both mechanically and cosmetically. It's running beautifully, and keeps COSC accurate time.

CONDITION REPORT:

Crystal: The slightly domed Sapphire Crystal is in immaculate condition, as is the anti-reflective coating.

Dial: Black Dial, glossy metallic finish. Applied steel faceted baton markers, with luminous dots to outer, except at quarters, which have Arabic numbers. Framed Quickset Date window at 6 (clicks over bang on midnight). Applied Breitling Wings Logo in steel. Minute Marker Track to outer of dial. Perfect condition, and lume is outrageous.

Hands: The hour hand is a steel arrowhead style, while the minute hand is a broad spear. Both have a luminous fill. The seconds hand is a counterbalanced steel needle. Again, the lume is terrific.

Case: The case is a classic diver-style, with a mirror-polish finish. Extremely good condition, no nicks or dinks. Even on the mirror-polished shoulders and sides, which tend to attract micro-scratches like you wouldn't believe, condition looks excellent, some very minor swirlies only. Edges are sharp.

Caseback: The caseback is a 15-sided screwback type, in polished steel. Markings are clear, including Model and Serial numbers, with some very light hairline scratches, but barely visible, and certainly nothing nasty - see photos. Not recently pressure tested - you'll need to to this if serious immersion in water is likely.

Bezel: There is a uni-directional steel bezel, with a polished-finish thin 'chimney' band to the inner above the crystal, and the traditional 'beaded' outer. The bezel, which rotates fully in 120 crisp 'clicks', has a ceramic finish insert, black with silver markers. Even up close, I can't find any marks - it really is in super condition.

Crown: Original large Screw-Down ridged-edge steel crown, clear 'B' signed. Excellent, and works perfectly.

Movement/Running: I had my watchmaker inspect the movement when I got this in March. The Breitling-signed 17 Calibre movement (modified ETA 2824.2 base) is in excellent order, and running well, with a strong reserve (rated at 42 hours). Timekeeping is pretty much spot on, running within COSC specs.

Strap: The watch is mounted on a brand new, uncut OEM Breitling Ocean Racer 24mm Rubber Strap. The Breitling foldover clasp, with push-button release and micro-adjuster, is in very nice condition, though it does have some 'desk-diver' marks, but nothing nasty. The Ocean Racer strap should be cut to size - it will easily fit an 8.5" (220mm) wrist in its uncut state.

Measurements: Width (without Crown): 46mm. Thickness: 13.6mm. Lug-to-lug: 57mm. Lug Width 24mm. Weight 156 grams.

Other: I think I've covered everything - it's a big watch, still under warranty, it's a complete box set, it's in terrific condition. The Ocean Racer rubber is brand new and uncut. It's a heavy beast (156 grams even on the rubber).

The RRP on this was £2930 (2012 Breitling Price List). The going rate for a used version seems to hover around the £1850/£1900 mark, though a couple went recently for considerably more.

I'll put this up at an extremely reasonable £1780 - that's a bit of a steal, considering the super condition, and the fact it's still got over 4 months warranty, so you've that a little bit of extra piece of mind. The price includes Next Day RMSD for UK Bidders. I don't think you'll find a better one at this price, so that's firm.

Overseas will need to contact me for exact Shipping costs based on destination, but I'll use a courier (Fed-Ex/UPS) for safer Tracked Shipping, so you're looking at an extra £30 or so, I'd guess (it's a heavy package).

I've loads of Feedback on here, I'm a 'Top Rated' e-bay seller (2300+ deals, 100%, username 'goonermike'), and I've got plenty of Feedback on TZ-UK (username BigBird), so there are no worries there.

I'd prefer BT. PayPal if absolutely necessary, or for overseas, but I cannot accept PayPal Gifts (my account just won't accept them, and I get charged even on gifts). So if you want to use PayPal, it'll be via the 'official' route, and you'll need to add 3.4% to cover Fees.

If I've missed anything, you'd like more info or pics, please feel free to PM me.

Cheers!

It's a full (minty) Box Set:

And a couple of obligatory Lume shots - which is excellent, and lasts a good spell too.
