I'm selling my Pro II bracelet from a Colt Quartz 2 I previously owned, my asking price is £200. Fully brushed steel in decent condition with typical surface marks for age. The 812A end links are include, but no spring bars. It also has an embossed S0206 serial number. The bracelet is approx. 160mm in length with the clasp fully closed. No spare links. The case lug width is 20mm reducing to 18mm at the clasp. Here are some pics Attachment: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1366313800.912902.jpg Attachment: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1366313814.026239.jpg Attachment: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1366313825.971309.jpg Best Regards Zsandy |

Your S0206 number is not a serial number, it denotes that the bracelet was made in week 02 (January) of 2006. |

Would it not be the case that if Den got hold of a set of 131A endlinks from his AD and fitted then in place of the 812A's, the bracelet would fit? |

Den, taking the foregoing into consideration, if you get a set of 131A endlinks from your AD and brush finish the bracelet and 131A end links you'll achieve the desired effect. I have brush finished a few links in my time so PM me if you need any further info. |

Hi, Thank you all your help and replies. This is the first breitling that I've had, very happy with it. Would the 811a end link work? Another idea would be if I could use my current end links that are on my watch and fit the new bracelet to it? I'm after the polished effect bracelet, I this the brushed version? Cheers guys, Den ![]() Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD |

811A is polished bracelet and would fit, as long as you put 131A end links on it. 811A end links won't fit. |

Den bnewbie is right. The Pro 1 end links won't fit on thePro 2. Even if it did, it wouldn't look right. There comes a point when you have to "bite the bullet" and get the right parts. There is no easy/cheap fix when you are looking at making up a suitable bracelet. Breitling, like other high end watch makers, deal in critical tollerances. It is ok if you modify a polished item to a satin/brushed but if you don't fit the right parts for the watch/bracelet you and up with the parts not fitting correctly and consequently you can put additional strain on the springbars as the end links don't mate to the watch correctly. You could end up either damaging the parts or worse losing your watch from your wrist. (I speak from experience here!! Luckily though, I caught the watch before it hit the concrete!!! ![]() |
