Panerai Radiomir PAM098 GMT alarm 42mm
Only 3000 ever manufactured from 2001 – 2008. Extremely rare and only occasionally does one come up for sale.
This one is in mint condition and has just returned from Panerai Italy where a small repair was carried out on the setting of the GMT time. The watch was also serviced by Panerai at the same time and now comes with the Panerai two year guarantee.
It has both the pear wood box and outer cardboard box - along with the warranty certificate plus the screwdriver for strap changing.
• The movement is the excellent Lajoux Perret, calibre 5900 which has been confirmed by Panerai
• Functions: hours, minutes, seconds, date, second time zone, mechanical alarm.
• Case: AISI 316L polished. Removable wire loop strap attachments (patented). Winding crown personalized OP. The movement's functions are controlled by two independent crowns – the crown at 2 o'clock is for winding, setting the time, the second time zone and the date. The crown at 4 o'clock is for winding and setting the alarm.
• Sapphire crystal 1.2 mm thick with a magnifying lens over the date at 3 o'clock with an anti-reflective coating.
• Size is diameter -42 mm and thickness-14 mm
• Strap is a hand stitched brown alligator OEM Panerai with the OEM Tang steel buckle. The strap is worn but has a good deal of life left.
The watch is in the Midland UK and is available for inspection at any time
