NOW OHPF - via another forum - thanks to BS as always. The Omega Seamaster Professional is well-known to most on here, but I have a slightly rarer bird for sale - the 50th Anniversary GMT Version, a Full Size 41.5mm Automatic Chronometer model, the 2534.50. Released in 1999/2000 this was a limited production version of the iconic SMP. Very much in the Seamaster mould, but incorporating a GMT feature, and sporting the distinctive Day/Night 24 hour bezel. This is the Omega Calibre 1128, Self-Winding, 24 Hour GMT hand, Chronometer Certified, based on the ETA 2892-A2, but modifed by Omega to include 23 jewels, rhodium-plated and rated at 44 hours Power Reserve. Full details and specs can be found here: http://www.omegawatches.com/gents/seama ... t/25345000 . I got this back in October last year, and it has been a total safe queen - I may have worn it once, but it's been in the safe with the occasional outing on the winder since then... I did get Steve Burrage to regulate it for me in December. It's running at around -9 secs per day (timed yesterday). It's pre-owned, and has the odd minor mark on the case and bezel edges, but overall in super condition (see below for details). It's in a standard Omega red box (which is tatty, with a replacement cushion, and I'm not sure is original to the watch). When I got it, the watch was on a nice Diloy hide strap (padded, Black with Ivory stitching), which is also included. Since then, I've mounted it on a really smart Sharkmesh bracelet (a quality heavy-duty one sourced from William Jean, not some cheap and nasty one!). I think it really suits the watch. "Condition Report" Crystal - Domed anti-reflective Sapphire Crystal is Mint, I can't see a mark on it. Dial - Mint - it's Black, the traditional 'wavy' pattern style - you know what I mean. 'GMT' in red. Date Window at 3. Lume - Stunning! On the large tapered baton markers, and all 4 hands, glows like a torch and lasts for a good spell (see the pics!). Bezel - Nice and tight, bidirectional, and turns with 120 ratcheted 'clicks'. I've had a good look at this through a loupe - it is in excellent condition. On the insert part, there is a tiny scratch on the '4', otherwise pristine. The serrated bezel edge has two very tiny nicks, one at '8', and another at '21', and a very slight scratch at '4' - none are obvious or nasty. There may be the odd 'shiny' mark or hairline, but again, nothing sinister, and I'm being ultra-critical here. Hands - The Sword style for Hours and Minutes. The GMT Hand is a red needle with a lumed arrowhead, and the Seconds hand is a steel needle, lumed dot with Red tip and counterbalance. All in super condition - even the Seconds Hand tip is a strong deep red, not fading as these are apt to do. Case: Very good, but with some minor marks: There are a few tiny pinpricks to the defined case edges, some very minor hairlines to the lug surfaces, and the odd swirly or hairline to the case sides - nothing horrendous, and considering the mirror-polish finish, more than acceptable - there's certainly no deep chips or major dinks. There may be the odd mark on the underside of the lugs from bracelet changing (or there may not be - I haven't taken the Sharkmesh bracelet off since I fitted it, and I can't recall anything worth mentioning). Backcase - Very nice, a few hairlines, nothing deep or obvious. The '50 Years' inscription, the hippocampus, and the Omega wording and logo all sharp and clear. Laser etched Serial Number is present and clear. Serial Number 60333801 dates the watch to 1999/2000. Bracelet - as mentioned, I've put the watch on a 'William Jean' Sharkmesh, in a satin-brushed finish, with a double push-button release, and foldover clasp. Near new condition, there are some minimal 'desk diver' swirls on the clasp, otherwise pristine. It's currently sized to at least 210m (about 8.25 inches), with a spare link included, which adds another 13mm (0.5 inches). The extra link needs a screw. Also included is a lightly used but very nice Diloy Leather strap, padded and lined, in Black with Ivory stitching. Running - it's an Omega Calibre 1128, Self-Winding, GMT hand, Chronometer Certified, based on the ETA 2892-A2, but upgraded by Omega to 23 jewels, rhodium-plated and rated at 44 hours Power Reserve. Recently regulated (Dec 2012), and running at -9 seconds per day. Date changes correctly at midnight. Paperwork - No, I received this without any paperwork. I do have a PDF file with the Omega User Instructions for this Calibre, a copy of which I'll send to the buyer. It will be useful if you're not familiar with the GMT function. This calibre also features the quick 'Traveller Adjust' feature, also covered in the Instructions. Boxes: Standard SMP Omega Red Box (probably not original to the watch) - it's getting quite tatty, as these tend to, and the original insert and cushion have been replaced with a single large display cushion. . If the buyer doesn't want the Box, I'll reduce the price accordingly. No outer box. These don't come up too often, and they're just that little bit different from your run-of-the-mill Seamaster. The bay's always a good guide to prices, and the lowest I've found is a fairly battered version from Hong Kong for £1100. After that, you're looking at a minimum of £1400, up to one seller who's asking nearly £2000! Mine's in very nice condition, though not on the original bracelet. I'm going put this up at an extremely reasonable £1250. If you'd prefer it without the (tatty) Omega box, I'll replace it with an Omega Travel Case, and I'll knock £40 off the price, which brings it down to £1210. The prices quoted include Next Day RMSD for UK Bidders. Overseas will need to contact me for exact Shipping costs based on destination, but I'll use a courier (Fed-Ex/UPS) for safer Tracked Shipping - I imagine it will be an additional £15-20 maximum. I've loads of Feedback on here, I'm a 'Top Rated' e-bay seller (2300+ deals, 100%, username 'goonermike'), and I've got plenty of Feedback on TZ-UK (username 'BigBird), so there are no worries there. I'd prefer BT. PayPal if absolutely necessary, or for overseas, but I cannot accept PayPal Gifts (my account just won't accept them, and I get charged even on gifts). So if you want to use PayPal, it'll be via the 'official' route, and you'll need to add 3.4% to cover Fees. If I've missed anything, you'd like more info or pics, please feel free to PM me. Cheers!
