I am offering this fully restored Bretiling Colt Quartz I A57035 from my personal collection. This is a collector's piece and looks like the day it was purchased in the late 1990s. I am not a dealer or reseller. I am a hobby collector that enjoys researching, buying, wearing and selling watches…add to that, having the professionals do the restoring and servicing.


DESCRIPTION:
This watch was recently restored by Breitling USA, in Wilton CT. The watch received the complete Quartz service package (battery, resealing, calibration, pressure testing, refinishing) as well as the following authentic components:

New A57035, Blue Dial
New Sapphire Crystal
New Deployment Clasp
New Hands
The watch was originally purchased at Burdeen’s in the Chicago IL area. I am the second owner of the watch. Please note the photo with the original receipt.

Overall condition the watch is: New Condition – Mix of New and Restored components.

Dial: New, perfect lumen
Bezel: New Condition, pictures do not do it justice
Case Back: New Condition, all serial number intact
Bracelet: Original S.S. Band: New Condition, Refinished with a satin finish

Question: You indicate that it has a "sSpphire" Crystal, but the service receipt shows a "Mineral" Crystal, and the
mineral crystal on these older Breitlings are not Sapphire. Could you please clarify?

I will call Breitling USA in Monday to verify, but for now we'll assume it is mineral. It also lists the crystal as for an Automatic, and this is not that either.

Does anyone else know? I checked on BreitlingSource, and they list this model as Sapphire...can anyone help clarify?
